Alvis Edgar “Buck” Owens Jr. died in his sleep last night at the age of 76 after his final performance, at his Crystal Palace on Buck Owens Boulevard in Bakersfield, California.

You don’t know me but you don’t like me,
You say you care less how I feel
How many of you that sit and judge me
Ever walked the streets of Bakersfield?
